Calls Salento Italy , a collective musical project coordinated by Danilo Seclì , was founded in 2011. On May 30, 2014 he released " Over the
Rainbow ", the third album of a reality in constant growth. The first CD in a row put the key in the house remix of some of the best-known songs of
the pinch, the traditional music of Salento . The second, " Salento Italy Calls 2.0" , has paved the way to collaborations between DJs and artists
from Salento , though coming from very different musical worlds from the disco : reggae , pop , funk , indie, ska . The result of these
collaborations is well liked and "Over the Rainbow " is full of the sound of DJs, rappers and musicians like Froggy mix with Snoop Dogg, & Cesko
Puccia , Mad Dopa ft. Clementino & Don Rico, BoomDaBash , Funk & Manu Blandini Marco Luca Santoro & Bovino , Sergio Sylvestre , Cico ,
Master J ... " Over The Rainbow " is a journey that starts from Salento and arrives in Los Angeles. Inside there are the pace and sweat of
Jamaica, the soul of Motown , the energy of the pinch ... and then lots of sun, what unites the Salento in many other parts of the world. To borrow
the words of Danilo Seclì : " A shot of cash for each of us , a color of the rainbow for all of us. Our mission is to combine musical genres , styles ,
and people. We want to be a rainbow that combines the beauty of all the colors . " More than the name of the artists involved , mostly in vertical
ascent , count the sound , louder and louder and more melodic . Calls to Salento Italy is music that refreshes the ears and often goes straight to
the heart and moves in time. It will be another summer to live in or at least Salento , Salento with the heart .
