" Soundtrack For Movies In Your Head " astonishing debut album by the versatile musician Alberto Turin Onion , contains 13 tracks of the best compositional skills of the artist. As the title says , he wants to be a sort of " soundtrack " to the feelings, mental images , movies that everyone has in his head or that may arise from the songs themselves. As well as impressionist paintings were the subject as the title of the painting, but it was often vague and sparse , so even connecting musical impressionism of Debussy and Satie , in " Soundtrack For Movies In Your Head " the subject of the song is often expressed ( "The Girl And The Rhye ", " Last Day Of November ", " Carol in The Rain "), but the focus on it is left to the listener. After some experience of writing for documentaries and theater performances, music mainly in the minimalist style à la Yann Tiersen , Michael Nyman or Einaudi, in 2010/2011 begin to take shape the first songs that will make up the disk and that will constitute the stylistic : the piano as a melodic or harmonic source of the idea , a crescendo that carries acoustic guitars, electric , rhythm section and synthesizers, in a perfect cohesion of all these elements . It went from "pop -rock " by Coldplay , a song in the style of Baroque Arcade Fire or Muse , or even more abstract songs that are close to those of Mogwai , Sigur Ros or Explosions In The Sky . Years of study classical composition and piano, are condensed into songs that , under guise of simple melodies and catchy , lie close together and sometimes several key changes , parties orchestrated counterpoint or harmony vocals cured. This creates a sort of post-pop sounding very cinematic , in a repertoire that sees numerous instrumental pieces and a minority of songs sung in English.
