Описание

The Southern hemisphere seems to generally be a fertile ground for dark and hard Electro. After Mexico being a well-established source for hellish sounds, it is now Italy’s turn to send out another promising heir to the Hardfloor-throne. While building their music on a solid foundation of EBM-sequencers, Techno-beats and melodic Trance-leads, combined with aggressive vocals, Adam manage to position themselves with a distinct sound of their own. This is the result of two main distinguishing factors : the first one being the combination of classic Hardfloor machinations with light, melodic Eighties-influences. The second one is the voice of the quartet’s singer, Jeez. Its raw charm displays a certain affinity towards Dark Metal, thus unleashing a far greater aggressive potential...This balancing act between aggression and emotion spawns a whole new sub-genre : Emo-Hardfloor. A showcase example is Adam’s version of the Eighties classic “Send Me an Angel”, originally by Real Life. While transforming the piece into a much harder and contemporary club context, its melodic essence is left intact. Thus, at the hands of the Italian quartet, the romantic New Wave number becomes a first-class floor burner. Adam celebrate their electronic venture into the bowels of hell as a matter of the heart, making their self-titled debut an album that will not only shake and stir you thoroughly with huge beats but that is also destined to leave a lasting impression.
