After the unusually hard album „Out Of The Abyss“, „The
Courts Of Chaos“ represents, among other things, a return to
the more classic Manilla Road sound.
Which band already has a drummer who can play keyboards
at the same time?
So the instrument became an important part of this album,
which by the way was also released in South Korea.
In the homeland of the former record label Black Dragon,
France, „The Courts Of Chaos“ was a big hit and still enjoys
great popularity among the fans living there. For example,
in 2018, the „Courts Of Chaos Festival“ was launched in
Brittany, where Manilla Road played as the headliner.
„The Courts Of Chaos“ makes it also easier for beginners than
its’ predecessor „Out Of The Abyss“. Only „(Vlad) The Impaler“
has tendencies toward Thrash Metal. Otherwise, the album is
dedicated to Epic Metal, which made Manilla Road become so
famous. The booklet contains new liner notes by Randy Foxe
and Neudi, lyrics, photos and many illustrations of different
versions of the album; So everything an „Ultimate Version“
needs.
