After initial experimentation with music software, phiL founded the project 'Valium Era' in 2006.
The first reasonable results were self-distributed on home-burned cd's and partly published on myspace in the end of that year. The received response was mostly positive, so phiL diligently continued pushing his virtual buttons.
After a change of instruments and a creative break, which lasted till the beginning of 2008, four free downloadable EP's have been released. Each of them is dedicated to a separate genre from technoid sounds to rhythmic noise.
At the end of 2008 the first album was published as a limited edition. From this album Valium Era brought out the single Tanz im Kopf, including different versions and a remix of the song.
The second album Mutation is available since October 2009. As the album title indicates, the sound developed a lot, but remains as danceable as always and distinguishes Valium Era from many others in the genre by the typical humorous voice samples.
Also in 2009, Orkus Magazine took notice of the "original" music style and published a review about VE as well as a song on their Compilation. Several other well known Complilations, like Extreme Sündenfall or Aderlass, included Valium Era Songs during the past years.
Since spring 2012 the EP FCUK YOU is available.
In November 2012 VALIUM ERA signed to FUTURE FAME, releasing Mutation Reloaded in January 2013 with many new songs and the popular tracks from the first two long players in a fresh new style plus remixes.
Valium Era combines technoid sound with danceable and rhythmical industrial elements to absolute club hits.
19 tracks inclusive 4 remixes from Vault-113, Incubite, Chaotic Rave System and Sleetgrout.
