Following recent compilation appearances and Remix works, Swedish one-man project Mind:State presents his debut release for Alfa Matrix. Firmly embedded within the realm of danceable melodic electronics, his sound eloquently compares to bands such as VNV NATION, NAMNAMBULU and especially ASSEMBLAGE 23 : delivering soulful melodic electronics with a melancholy edge amidst the shimmering darkness of Per Holmström’s songs. By combining dark melodies, danceable electronics and emotional vocals they have developed a unique sound that is unmistakeably Mind:State. Furthermore by teaming up with Belgian producer Len Lemeire ( Anne Clark, Implant, Unter Null, etc. ), they have deepened their sound and song atmospheres while reinforcing the powerful dynamics and sequences for a spellbinding result.
Additionally this Limited Edition Maxi EP includes club tracks, each drastically revisited by dancefloor invaders such as CUT.RATE.BOX, STATE OF THE UNION, IMPLANT and AURAL VAMPIRE.
