Original Release: 2000 This is another disc of the 10 CD box “Contemporary Works” which was released in September 2000 and is meanwhile deleted. ‘Ballett 1’ is an album that Schulze recorded together with cello player Wolfgang Tiepold. Their first collaboration started in 1978 for the ‘X.’ album, followed by ‘Dune’, ‘Trancefer’ and ‘Audentity’. This partnership makes this album real special. Often KS steps back and gives Tiepold the room for a solo, as for instance for over half an hour in ‘Agony’. (15.08.2006)
