Back with a bang! After almost three years, Chris Pohl’s cult group Terminal Choice returns, guitar amps cranked to 11, transforming Yazoo’s Eighties classic „Don’t Go“ into a heavy grinding, slow- motion- Industrial- Metal- track. Pohl’s characteristic deep vocal timbre and the typical electronic Terminal-Choice-approach fuse the song’s light Synth-Pop- feeling with a thudding note of Goth-Electro that seems predestined to fill the dance floors in the dark underground discotheques. The two B-side songs then continue down the path that the group had started pursuing with “Menschenbrecher” … but with a much harder and more aggressive touch. Mixed by cult-producer John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, HIM), Terminal Choice in the year 2006 have become a mighty bastard child spawned from Electro and roaring guitars that does not have to blush in comparison with similar well-established acts from overseas. “Donґt Go” is a tasty appetizer that raises the expectations for the next album that is due for release in July.
