For his work as a songwriter, he won e.g. a Grammy Award (as an author for the Dixie Chicks).

Mark Selby is the ultimate synonym for down-to-earth blues-rock as well as for creative songwriting.
Tragically, he died of cancer on September 18, 2017.
But his music lives on!
