Семь лет существования, единственное демо и пять альбомов, вошедших в историю тяжёлой музыки - неплохой итог. Когда-то основатель этого британского коллектива Байрон взял имя "Bal-Sagoth" из одной из своих самых любимых книг писателя-фантаста Роберта Ховарда "Боги Бал-Сагота". Но прошо время, и сегодня это название стало известно ещё большему количеству людей благодаря тому, что группа создала в своей музыке особый фантастический мир, ничем не хуже того, созданного Ховардом в литературе. И сегодня они повелители этого мира, короли эпического True Britannic War-Metal. Второй альбом 'Starfire Burning Upon The Ice-Veiled Throne Of Ultima Thule' продолжает их первую фантастическую трилогию. Записан в Academy Music Studio - там же где записывался и предыдущий, дебютный альбом. Запись произведена продюсером Mags (My Dying Bride, Anathema, Paradise Lost, Cradle Of Filth, Antimatter, Death SS). Состав, записавший альбом, включает Jonny Maudling, который также являлся сессионным клавишником My Dying Bride. А оформлял его талантливый художник Joe Petagno (Motothead, Marduk, Bal Sagoth, Bewitched, Wykked Witch, Stormlord, Illdisposed). Содержит крайне познавательную компьютерную CD-ROM секцию!
