Mélancolie en prose is the ninth regular studio album of OPERA MULTI STEEL, the cult minimal pop wave band native from Bourges in the centre of France. Conceived as a tribute to the memories of the past, the album includes six all new titles and six other ones, selected among songs dating from the early years of the group and which have never been released on cd before. However, there’s no real musical ‘gap’ between the new and the oldest tracks: A mix of Pop, New Wave, Folk, Minimal-Electro and even classical music with numerous choral parts.
