Staubkind, the German Alternative-Rock-shooting-stars of the year, keep on flying high! After a highly successful European tour supporting Unheilig in front of a combined audience of more than 300000 people that gave the group a highly frenetic reception and charts-entries in Germany (9 weeks in the Top 100) and Austria for their album “Staubkind”, the Berlin-based lads return with a new single, titled “Nur ein Tag/Unendlich sein.” Graced with a thundering production from Henning Verlage (Unheilig), Staubkind are living out their Rock-oriented side with “Nur ein Tag”, pairing sensual lyrics and catchy melodies with a wall of guitars. The band effectively balances emotions and energy and proves yet again that they are a singularity within the German language Rock scene. With “Unendlich sein”, Staubkind unveil their anthemic qualities in a touching song with a lasting melodic appeal that was thoroughly audience-tested on their tour supporting Unheilig in summer. The CD-single contains “Nur ein Tag” in a massive single mix and an intimate piano version, “Unendlich sein” with a more dynamic mix, plus three gripping live versions that were recorded at a show at the Wuhlheide amphitheatre in Berlin. A phenomenon is on the rise… we are all “Staubkinder” (=dust children!)
