The album opener is a true classic from ALPHAVILLE : "To Germany With Love", Exclusively remixed for Elektrisch! 2 by Sebastian R.Komor ( Icon Of Coil, Zombie Girl ) - The Remix weaves 80`s elements into Future Electro sounds transforming the track into an updated, pulverising club-anthem. CAMOUFLAGE`s infectious "We Are Lovers" taken from their recent album follows with a remix courtesy of Distain! while CLIENT `s "Zerox Machine" comes reinterpreted by the faboulous MECHANICAL CABARET from London.
Elsewhere there are Remix collaborations between artists such as MESH and MECHANICAL CABARET ( who both remix a track of each other ) while the broad range of Electronic musical styles and artists extends to include acts as diverse as GOLDFRAPP, ERASURE and DEINE LAKAIEN in rare and very clubby versions. Andy Bell of Erasure is responsible for the wonderful remix of GOLDFRAPP`s "Ooh La La" along with the remix stars of "The Manhattan Clique".
