They took the breath of both the music world and the media away for more than two decades: Umbra Et Imago from Karlsruhe is a trendsetter in many aspects. As the first group ever, founding member Mozart's band performed a spectacular as well as artistic S&M show. Mozart himself became the figurehead of a subculture that made waves far beyond the reaches of the gothic scene. Thanks to his duet with female boxing world champion Regina Halmich (“Schlag Mich”), he caused an uproar in the popular press. With “Opus Magnus”, the band’s final hour has come. At least as far as the production of records is concerned – the group will continue to perform live. With the ginger liqueur manufacturer "Dracula”, a suitable cooperation partner was found for the grand finale.
The limited fan box of the new Umbra Et Imago album (limited to 1500 copies) contains a 60 pages song book, an Umbra Et Imaga tie, a mouse pad and a fridge magnet.
