Their fifth album, released in April 2005, has been unavailable for quite some time but is now back a reduced price. "Matter and Form" features a varied pallette of tone and structure, from the dancefloor electro-punch of tracks such as "Chrome" and "Entropy" to the more ethereal melody of "Endless Skies" and "Homeward". While the album certainly delivers an evolution of the emotive, soulful and humanist elements that define VNV NATION's music, it also retains, and in some ways accentuates, their classic sound.
