Arian 1, one of the oldest electro-bands in Latin America is back with a new album titled Immersion, bringing with it raw EBM sounds along with the best of new electro...making this album one of ground-shaking proportions. The Immersion Album summarize a musical activity that comes from years of production, observation, participation, many rehearsals and live concerts.
ARIAN 1: It all started during 1992 in the city of Lima, they began as most musicians of the time, in garage bands, trying different trends and sounds of the underground scene in Lima. It is in that time when they decided to name the band “Arian 1” after the French space program and rocket, which meant a great deal of always changing and evolving technology. In the beginning, they experimented with different styles of electronic music which later were defined as “EBM” [electronic body music].
