In 2008, the Belgian label ALFA MATRIX celebrate its 7th anniversary. For the occasion, a special deluxe carton box double-CD + DVD (!!) label compilation, is released featuring exclusive and previously unreleased material from ALL artists in the matrix. And as a special feature to make this 34-track audio release even more valuable to collector's, an extended 19-track video clip DVD collection is included to visually enhance the experience!
Since its creation, Alfa Matrix has established itself as one of the few unavoidable label references for quality electronic / EBM / industrial music. Refusing to be typecast into a fixed format, Alfa Matrix quickly built a varied international roster accentuated by influential artists including pioneers such as FRONT 242, MENTALLO & THE FIXER, LEAETHER STRIP, TRISOMIE 21, MONOLITH, PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE, etc. along side a stable of outstanding and fast ascending younger acts and promising newcomers.
