machinalis tarantulae is a project created by justine ribière in 2014. it is built around an electric viol da gamba connected to fx, played on harsh electro-indus beats, and brightened up by chanted texts arising from the depths. after her remix of ‚sable‘ in 2016 from the first album ‚tablarium‘, miss z (punish yourself) join the project with tom and electric guitar. far from stereotypes, the mechanical spider and miss z spin a powerful, dense and dark electro-indus sound.
