Dinamuzac presents the first fully official album by Dinamoe: L´analogie d´échecs. IS THIS FRENCH? Yes. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? The chess analogy. And it invariably deals with this topic. The French language, chosen for the whole album naming, marks the conceptual starting point: The final outcome of the hypothetical chess game is a draw which is called -remis- in German (coming from the French word -remettre-). On this basis, the album pursues to re-enact the game from the beginning. Looking back to catch the development - musically and contextually. In the case at hand, the players alternate and each one makes four moves in total (a pragmatically simplified reduction): Manoeuvre/s 1/3/5/7 and Manoeuvre/s 2/4/6/8. SO, WHAT ABOUT THAT AND THE ACTUAL MUSIC? The tracks represent both players (odd and even), the reactions to the other one´s actions on the board, their personal development and epiphanies/disclosures during the game. Regarding this context, nothing should be separated - the whole album is a unit. The mainly analogue production (here´s one more origin of -analogy-) took several months in 2012 and features the current sound of Dinamoe after years of a highly diverse progression which was recorded and characterised in his half-official Bandcamp album-trilogy in 2010 (among other releases around the globe using this moniker). -L´analogie d´échecs- contains a wide range of stylistic peculiarities and shapes while pursuing a common theme within its substantial concept, arrangements and the general tone. While it doubtlessly includes music to spin anywhere out there, it chiefly is a listening album for home or to go!
