The Swiss Darkwave Ensemble Irrlicht is back in February 2017 with new material. After a personal fate, the quartet around mastermind Markus Nauli decided to end the waiting time for a new full-time album with a lush 7-track EP. „Bleiben werden“ describes the challenge of uncompromisingly deciding for life with all its facets. A testimony to the inexhaustible, healing source of power that springs from music. The French and German song lyrics draw the path of profound life questions (Königreich aus Stahl / Kingdom of Steel“ and „La Gamine / The little girl“) to an ecstatic new beginning („Salomé“ and „Vergebung / Forgiveness“). The band consistently pursues the path taken on the last album: danceable & catchy Songs, combined with challenging lyrics. As already started on the past album „Près du miroir“, Irrlicht musically consistently pursues the paved path, to danceable, catchy sound arrangements. The band is also flirting with scene-untypical Dubstep and orchestral compositions. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, Irrlicht delivers an impressive work.
