During the 90’s Klaus and Frank already achieved first musical successes with different bands. These bands covered songs from various bands such as Depeche Mode, Ultravox and Alphaville. Furthermore they played their own sounds and lyrics.
Klaus and Frank started working on the electro-pop project “evo-lution” in 2011. They both agree that their sounds have to be electronic, rhythmic and good to dance to.
The album “Changing Memories” which they released on April 1st and are distributing themselves, is especially important to them because on this record they look back on their own past. evo-lution have integrated various different types of electronic music on their album. Also, the lyrics are sometimes composed in German and sometimes composed in English. Harmony of sound is very high importance for both musicians. Furthermore, the blend of German and English lyrics was also a special challenge.
The production and mixing were mainly done in a home Studio in Kassel.
Since early 2012 evo-lution are supported by KL-Dark-Records in management matters.
Since 2013 they are also supported by House of Wax Studios (Per Anders Kurenbach), which handle the mixing and mastering and Sounds of the production.
During their live shows, evo-lution not only integrate light effects, costumes and hard beats, but also convince the audiences with well thought through show performances.
