The electro band ME THE TIGER was born in Falun, Sweden, in the spring of 2012. Since the beginning, the band has, among other things, played with Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode), Kite, Panda Da Panda, released an album and several singles, been awarded a diversity scholarship (by their home municipality) and been nominated as “best band” on Dalecarlia Music Awards. Before Peace & Love festival in 2013, music journalist Fredrik Strage selected the band’s song Pocket Sized Edition Ending as one of the best festival songs.
The lyrics as well as the band’s message is a central part of ME THE TIGER. In the days when individualism thrives, the band want to highlight the solidarity values and contribute to a fairer and warmer society. We live together and we have a shared responsibility to take care of each other – regardless of class, ethnicity or gender.
