Arome Artificel is an Electro New Wave quartet from France, formed of a collaboration between three highly accomplished musicians and a quintessentially charismatic lead singer, Naommon. The project revisits the 80's with a little of the decadance and fanciful spirit of the 30's mixed in.
In times of economic, ideological and spiritual crisis, amid what sometimes seems like a total loss of reference points and models, Arome Artificiel develop music out of the dizzying force of sheer impulse, attempting to reach all the lost urban souls and incite them to rise up in a final and elegant sarabande.
It is not the end of the world, but the end of a particular world, the celebration, the summary and epitaph of classic continental European culture. Arôme Artificiel is the witness and the narrator - the last embers before darkness.
Dissolution, evaporation, indifference. A slow Apocalypse.

• WAITING
Their first original composition, begun in October 2010. A mid-tempo melancholic tune with a heady refrain, exploring a quest without a goal, a trip without encounters.
• TEARS OF SUMMER
Based on an instrumental from 1992 that had never previously met a suitable singer. A radio friendly track, supported by a memorable bassline and an implacable melody - an obvious hit. Remixed by TERRORIST_XY in December 2011 (available on CD version)
• FIXED INTO MOTION
The infinite dissatisfaction caused by the loss of innocence. A pleasantly melancholic mise-en-abime.
• FOG MACHINE
Another powerful potential hit, made for dancefloors...a very theatrical atmosphere balanced on an irrestible shuffle rhythm. The discerning listener will perceive an respectful tribute to Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". Remixed by STOLEARM in December 2011 (available on CD version).

Naommon (vocals, melodies, words)
From London to Paris via New York, Ibiza and Berlin, this Dance Music troublemaker has put his decadent angel voice on a dozens of dancefloor friendly smashes. The success of his album "Love is Struggling " removed Naommon somewhat from the club world - but now this 21st century Dandy of Dance is back in the spotlight in an electro New Wave vein, while nevertheless channelling his cabaret-crooner influences thgroughout.
ZED (production, guitar, synths)
Legendary DJ (under the pseudonym of Elodie du Détroit) in the grand tradition of Detroit techno (Kenny Larkin, Jeff Mills, Stacey Pullen), Zed has survived the Rave party years and experienced all their splendour and decadence. A former member of the Electro-Punk-Band System Öko, Zed is an instigator of many outstanding projects - Karne Metal Box (Breakcore) Baume Proxy (Sound Design)AAA (Electro-Pop), Mineshaft (Electro varieties). Zed is also the originator of music and video label Artntech / Teknoire.
DMZ (bass, synths, production, engineering)
While developing his skills as a formidable Rock bassist , DMZ first thrust himself on the punk scene with Milieu Carcéral, then with Lacrima Christi (Gothic rock), before becoming a respected musician in the French electro outfits Prodrome17 and Opkod.
FRED T (production, synths)
For a long time, Fred T messed around at home with samplers and a four track recorder. He met Zed and DMZ in college, and found himself involved in ambitious projects and soon discovered his true calling on the live stage. He created Arome Artificiel in 1992 to give substance to his undisguised love for a cursed decade: the 80's. Fred T's meeting with Naommon twenty years later proved to be the final decisive factor in the devlopment of the project, allowing it to reach it's full potential in a short amount of time.
TERRORIST_XY (production)
As the brain behind European synthpop legends Foretaste, it is natural that Terrorist_XY became interested in the Arome Artificiel's project, providing the final mastering on the tracks, maintaining their essence while instilling his own epic formula to instigate dancefloor riots.
