the god’s bow story begins in a modern pop fairy tale fashion. the musicians meet for the first time in winter 1997. several months later they perform their very first live gig at the polish castle party festival. after the show the black flames records boss approaches the band backstage waving with the record-deal contract. the duo releases two albums, wins the euro rock indoor festival competition, appears as a special guest at the crüxshadows concerts, plays the entire leg of deine lakaien 'white lies' tour and collaborates with the german band endraum on their album entitled „traumstaub'.shortly afterwards the musicians return to studio and begin to work on their third album. they polish up the tracks over and over again and invite guest musicians to add an analogue flavour to god’s bow’s very own electronic sound universe such as the cellist b. deutung (deine lakaien, mila mar, subway to sally, the inchaboktables) and the pianist roman rütten (endraum).the final result of this top-class alliance brings us to mind the best releases of the 4ad heydays mixed with modern electronics and spiced up with ambient- und ethno- elements.from its first sound 'follow' creates an extraordinary, truly magical atmosphere full of drama and dynamics.the bonus cd contains remixes of selected album tracks. well-known dark scene artist such as psyche, :wumpscut:, the frozen autumn, endraum and many more contributed their interpretation of god’s bow’s music – sometimes in a strongly dance orientated manner, sometimes as spherical, melancholic pieces of sonic art. all that makes 'follow' a musical masterpiece suitable for every emotional state of mind and, excuse the platitude, undoubtedly a perfect album for the autumn.
