With "Grounds Of Ashes" the exceptional project around singer, composer and producer ANDREAS GROSS is going to release the already eighth album on 12 October. Again, delicate and melancholic sounds shape the songs including a cover version of Slipknot's "Vermillion Pt. 2" being cloaked into an individual musical garment of a kind that underlines again Andreas Gross' own class.
Alongside Tabitha Anders and Andreas Gross himself, vocalist Swenja Schneider chips in more vocal parts again which give "Grounds Of Ashes" a refreshingly varied structure.
In addition to the 10 album tracks, the album CD contains four live tracks as well as a remix of the song "Lilith" which Herzinfakt member Thorsten Heine is responsible for.
The album of the by now six-strong formation around mastermind Andreas Gross once again makes a compelling case for the fact that music in the wide range of Dark Wave, Gothic, Heavenly Voices and Electro Pop does not have to follow overproduced genre cliches at all.
