New fourth album by Sagi Rei " JADE DIAMONDS & PEARLS " "I decided to name this album "Diamonds & pearls jade " - says Sagi - Rei " because these songs are for me the precious stones and their memory elicits a strong nostalgia for an era in which musical sounds radically changed and the electronic music had an incredible boom . In the early 80s , drum machines and synthesizers took over. Every song I´ve reinterpreted evokes in me so much joy , but also a bit ´ of melancholy for a time that will never return : the period of my adolescence , the thoughtlessness , the first -established friendships , first crushes . For this new album, I chose the purely acoustic sound enriched by some ethnic instruments that come from my country (Israel) and I used an orchestra of 23 elements .
