The Berlin saxophonist Olaf Kübler with his album „When I‘m 64“. Now finally available again! Together with the pianist Christoph Spendel, bassist André Nendza and drummer Kurt Billker he recorded on an excellent album focusing on his favorite music; jazz music from the second half of the 20th century. Kübler is one of the few German jazz musicians of international reputation offering a various range and fascinating flexibility from Bebop („Be Bop salad“), over balladesque jazz („Memories“), Latin Jazz (‚ Hotel Ravel „), bluesy jazz variants („ Blues For Nothing „), to Pop-Jazz in the footsteps of Eddie Harris („One For Eddie“).
