A dynamic Dutch alto clarinettist, an enchanting Turkish singer and an intense Romanian guitarist/violinist together form the HORIZON TRIO. Steven Kamperman, Sanem Kalfa and George Dumitriu carry you into an adventure of crossover grooves, hypnotizing melodies and playful improvisations. Along the threads of Steven Kamperman´s compositions and the poetic lyrics by the young Turkish writer Orhan Güne?, the music of the HORIZON TRIO emerges into a world of its own. Alto clarinet player Steven Kamperman was active in the heart of the pioneer world jazz formation Baraná for years, playing from Mexico to Siberia. Singer Sanem Kalfa won the international Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2010. Guitarist George Dumitriu won sixteen prices in his youth as a classical violinist, before he developed into a versatile and adventurous jazz guitarist.
