this is electronicbodynoise! 'achtungaetzend!' ('cautioncorrosive!') with this warning, the frankfurt (germany) based band project antistasis presented its first official release in 2004. the warning should be taken seriously, as the mix of noisy industrial and electro/ebm, enriched with technoid minimalism, really is hard stuff for your ears. antistasis is an experimental soundgenerationreactor that leaves impressions in an unusual way. the textures often remind of defunct electronic devices, which have somehow been synchronized and where any touch of 'beautiful and good' things are missing. and exactly that's why dancefloors become ecstatic through the emotion of the tracks - one will for sure remember the very personal style of antistasis. the twenty upmost raw and driving tracks contained on this cd tell an own story, to be read inside the booklet. the material this infectious musical sickness was made of, are references to movies and their ideas. don't be worried about the strange way of writing the song titles, one of antistasis' trademarks is that their song and album titles consequently ignore spaces. when the project was formed in 2001 and carried out its first demo cd 'vorsichtsäure' into the clubs, they received massive feedback for 'massiveattack', a track that is also published as a new version on this album. the song 'bladerunner' was featured at 'www.bladezone.com' for months, which is the official homepage of bladerunner. also through live performances so far, antistasis could convince with an emotional and explosive show, often nearly overtaxing the sound system capacity. be warned if you entrust this cd to your home stereo equipment! antistasis does not take responsibility for damages caused by the perception of their creations!
