“Temporary Evacuation” is a powerful, electronic album inspired by the devastating events of April 26, 1986. This release marks the 25th Anniversary of the disaster. A nuclear power station released toxic chemicals into Northern Ukraine, burning for ten days and evacuating all nearby towns and villages. In the wake of the tragedy that has stretched over two decades, R.I.P. brings an inspired, Electro laced account of the ‘temporary’ evacuation.
The 13 tracks CD includes 8 remixes of the title track “Temporary Evacuation 27.04.86”, providing a range of sound from Techno, to EBM and even harsh, Industrial overtones. Other tracks provide a more organic account of events, such as the panic instilling “No Future (Run Mix)”, “My Destination", and "Birthday (Edit)".
