After two successful albums in 2003 and 2004 and an extra long EP in 2007 (all on Accession Records), HUMAN DECAY disappeared completely and were considered to be 'dead'... But now, five years after their latest release, the German electro act is back with a bang!
HUMAN DECAY's sound features a special mixture of various electronic, electric and body-music elements, thus it's not limited to simple EBM clichés. Techno elements are also an inherent part of their music as well as industrial-noise timbres. The output of this come-back album is the distillate of experience in electronic music gathered since 1996.
Mid-tempo tracks alternate with dancefloor hits, intelligent tricky sounds rotate around straight'n'stomping beats. Rhythmic skill and the variety of sound ideas combined with experimental beat constellations synthesize into an elaborate body which is juxtaposed/contradicted/mixed up/completed with pretentious lyrics. Fresh and invigorating 'uncatchy' files are the outcome of the HD-framework. The band really does not insist on the importance of 'of the moment' ingredients in electronic music, but is one of the world's few music projects with the same incredibly crazy name from the very start 'til the present. Enjoy and think! Think and enjoy!
