When X MARKS THE PEDWALK started in 1987 under the former band name SCARECROW, no-one would have ever imagined the path their musical career would take. Often referred to as the 'German SKINNY PUPPY', this band has certainly set the standard in the EBM/electro world - a true force in innovation and catchy dance songs! Album releases such as "Human Desolation", "Drawback" and "Meshwork" became true collector's items and are essential to the collection of any electro/EBM enthusiast!
With the single "Seventeen" and their come back album "Inner Zone Journey" Svren Ni-Arb and Raive Yarx returned after a musical break of almost fifteen years. Re-releases of cult hits such as "Abattoir", "Cenotaph" and "Facer" paved the way for a great comeback! In addition, with the cooperation of the German concert agency INMOVE, Infacted Recordings managed to get the band together for a unique re-union concert at this year's famous Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig. The stage appearance was filmed with six cameras and cut together to create an outstanding documentary of the band's great history! Old and new material mixed together to form a wonderful 'best of' set, including all of their most popular songs.
