A for Acid Jazz: GAZZARA , Their debut album "One" (1996) featured the organist James Taylor (JTQ) as a special guest. B for Bossa: since their second album "Grand Central Boogie" (1998) the band - originally from Rome, Italy - began a long journey into the brazilian sound of the 1960´s. Their point of departure was a bossa nova cover of the Steely Dan classic "Josie", also played live at the infamous Montreux Jazz Festival. H for House: following the third album "The Spirit Of Summer" (2001) and a successful title track remix by Dave Warrin, GAZZARA became a name to remember on theinternational house music scene, being included in prestigious DJ charts (Masters At Work), highly successful compilations (Hotel Costes) and playing live in countries like Japan and Russia. L for Lounge: well-known HBO, TV serial "Sex And The City" made extensive use of GAZZARA´s instrumental lounge tracks in various episodes broadcasted around the world. Band leader Francesco Gazzara has also published a book titled "Lounge Music".
